I’m incredibly excited to write about one of my favorite brands, BYREDO. Founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham (who’s also revered for his own personal style and connection to fashion and art), Byredo uses the world’s highest-quality ingredients to develop fragrance inspired by specific moments and emotions — a literal translation of a memory into an olfactory experience. With names such as Slow Dance, Bibliotheque, Mojave Ghost, Baudelaire, and Rodeo, each scent will take you on a journey. In fact, the name Byredo is a combination of the words “by redolence.” And what does “redolence” mean, you might ask? Aroma, scent, the way something smells. In addition to fragrance, the luxury brand produces accessories, home, and leather goods - like their ‘Blueprint Mini’ handbag I’ve styled in this shoot. With not a single detail overlooked, everything is beautifully crafted to perfection, and instantly recognizable for its minimalist design and impeccable aesthetic. Even the packaging is cool.
