Style Icon Debbie Harry
RAYBAN WAYFARER

Debbie Harry was and still is a boss babe with serious talent and beauty, prob one of the coolest chicks to ever walk the face of the Earth. Front-woman and cofounder of new wave NYC band Blondie, which got its start by bursting onto the Brit-punk scene in the late 70s, Debbie Harry’s style and presence is freaking inspiring, to say the least. If you don’t know who she is, stop reading. Google. Please.
I was asked to recreate a look I love – anything from a classic style icon whose look I’m inspired by. So naturally, I chose her for this fun throwback project with boohoo.com. My Debbie Harry girl crush goes way back, but now that I’m rocking the blonde hair, this had to happen. It was not easy to narrow down my outfit given the amazingly vast range of dresses on boohoo.com’s site, but I picked this Stripe Bodycon Midi Dress and toughened it up with a black leather cap. The camera certainly got a good dose of attitude from me, as I stood in front of some NYC-esque Wynwood graffiti (appropriate). How I wish I could time travel, hang with Blondie, and rub elbows with cool cats like Lou Reed, Andy Warhol, Fab Five Freddy, and Basquiat.
