How has your 2020 been so far?

I saw this meme a few days ago that said, “We are 6 months into the year and it’s still January.” That pretty much sums up how much has gone down already. At the risk of sounding utterly dispiriting, here’s a little recap of how the first month of this year has been (in no particular order). I may or may not have forgotten a few: 

• Puerto Rico fell prey to yet another natural disaster. Jamaica soon followed. 

• Trump’s impeachment trials are well underway.

• The Doomsday Clock says we are 100 seconds to midnight.

• World War III may actually be a thing?

• Kobe

• Record temps

• Plastic Pollution

• Instagram is sucking for most of us, unless you’re a smoking hot twenty something year old ‘influencer’ who’s amassed a following overnight.

• My shrink upped my meds. 

• Thought it was just me, but client requests are the worst they’ve ever been for everyone across the board. 

• TikTok is now one of the most popular apps in the world???

• Super Bowl in Miami

• Coronavirus

• ‘I Have To Do My Taxes’ Season has begun. 

• Maxed out all my credit cards. Again.
